Have you seen the new Cinderella movie? I loved it! I really liked how it added a new dimension to the story of Cinderella without major changes in the plot. It bothers me when someone makes a “retelling” of a well-known fairy tale and then makes major, MAJOR changes in the plot so that the ending is totally different (*cough* Maleficent *cough*). But this new Cinderella was very faithful to the classic version while adding an extra depth and beauty to it, I thought.
I also loved what Cinderella’s mother tells her she must remember all her life: “Have courage, and be kind, for where there is kindness, there is goodness, and where there is goodness, there is magic!” Have courage and be kind…that part really touched me. So simple, but it’s a good reminder for all of us. So I decided to make a printable out of it!
I made a few different versions of the same sweet quote and I really can’t pick a favorite! The black and white is classic and would match anything, but the pink one would look cute in a little girl’s room! And the blue one would add a cool pop of color to a room no matter the color scheme. Just download the PDF file of whichever color way you prefer, print it out, and pop it in an 8×10 frame. Links to download each option are at the bottom of this post. (Make it pink! Make it blue! Pink! Blue! Name that Disney movie!)
I hope you enjoy the printables! And now, I’ll just go back to counting down the days until the new Beauty and the Beast movie comes out in 2017…with Emma Watson as Belle! Squeeeal! Beauty and the Beast is my favorite movie EVER and Emma Watson is the ONLY actress I can picture as Belle! And with Dan Stephens as the Beast, Emma Thompson as Mrs. Potts, Luke Evans as Gaston and Josh Gad as LeFou, it’ll be perfect!
What’s your favorite Disney movie? And if you’ve seen Cinderella, what did you think of it?
These PDF files are free to download for personal use. You are welcome to share pictures of this printable on your blog or Pinterest as long as you link back to this original post. Thanks!
